Sakyant (Nam Kwak & Lahu)

Ever since the establishment of this blog and its youtube channel I was always wanted to take the video of Archan Tia sakyant and it so happened that I have got the opportunity to do so on my visited to Archan Tia yesterday when I bring him about 40 DVDs that created during Wai Kru 2010 (for those who wants it, fast visit Wat Sungai Siput while stocks last :).

First sakyant that performed by Archan Tia is Nam Kwak on a Thai women’s shoulder, I can’t get more details because I can’t speak Thai, so I just guess she is female so she sak a female god. She is nice enough to let me take the video of her, the process is about 15 minutes and there is no possession, maybe she seems a little bit rush and not focusing well. Video 1 | Video 2

After half an hour another guy came and ask for Lahu sakyant, he is from Gurun and know about this place from his friends that often visit here, according to his friends that also got sakyant by Archan Tia, one day after drinking (alcohol) he was possessed and the spirit not leaving even after the master from some Chinese temple came to assist, so that Chinese master ask about 10 peoples circling his friend in the center and start to pray then only the spirit leave. He didn’t tell me exactly and I also don’t know wheater this is punishment from the god he sak on his body or some bad spirit that he dump with. His lahu took about 20 minutes and it was done beautifully, again and a little bit disappointed there is no possession, he told me he got something else to do and he must in hurry. He will be back in some other time for Salika, hopefully. Video

The following paragraph taken from "Sak-Yant.com", it is written by the founder Spencer Littlewood and its absolutely worth pondering:

"Transfromation only comes with effort, not by being a tripped out hedonist, get a sakyant and suddenly receive all the blessings possible then continue being a tripped out party animal. Nothing will come of a sak yant like that. The real magic comes with inner effort, respect and reverence for the yant, and a constant vigilance to be aware of oneself in daily life, and how one behaves. If we change, life will change, but no tattoo in the world will change things for the better unless you work on your heart and fulfill the requirements of practice. Charms and magical means can help, but only if we collaborate with them by making an effort with ourselves."
